1,033 children from Jena start school life

School starts next Monday for 1,033 children from Jena.This is the same number of new pupils as in previous years (2020/2021: 1,041; 2019/2020: 1,016; 2018/2019: 1,010)

The ABC pupils attend 11 elementary school and 11 community schools (state and independent) as well as a special education center. 16 of the 1,033 children from Jena attend various schools in the surrounding area.

Please take care on the roads - increased checks planned in front of schools

All road users are asked to take care and exercise caution not only, but above all, in the immediate vicinity of schools. During the first two weeks, police and public order officers will have an increased presence in front of schools and will carry out speed checks, among other things.
