Another meeting of the Jena staff for extraordinary events
The staff for extraordinary events met for the second time today in Jena.
Here is a summary of the results:
- There are still no confirmed cases of illness due to the coronavirus. (As of 18:00)
- The test results of 6 people are pending - they are currently in home quarantine.
- The newly established fever consultation is already fully booked for the first few days. If this demand remains, the capacity of the consultation hours will be increased. It should be noted that only people who are classified as suspected corona cases will be accepted here. This will be clarified by telephone on the Jena hotline 036 41 - 49 33 33.
- The Kielstein Medical Care Center also offers consultation hours for the clarification of suspected corona cases. Appointments can be made by calling 03 61 - 26 26 19 100.
- Preparations are underway in the city's social institutions in accordance with their pandemic plans.
- The city's information page will constantly reflect the current situation. An FAQ section will also be added quickly.
Head of staff Benjamin Koppe adds: "There is currently no need to cancel events. However, this may change at short notice. We ask event organizers to be prepared for this."
The following institutions are bundled in the staff: the Jena city administration, including the health and fire departments, the city's own companies, municipal utilities, ZVL Jena-Saale-Holzland, Jena public transport, Jena University Hospital and the Jena Police Inspectorate.
