Another successful Long Night of Science

26.11.2024

Jena shone and glowed - despite the November weather! Around 12,000 visitors immersed themselves in the fascinating world of science and research last Friday, November 22, 2024. With over 500 events from almost 50 partners - including numerous institutions from education, research and industry - there was something to discover everywhere: experiments, lectures, hands-on activities and impressive shows offered a varied program for young and old.

This success is thanks to the passion and enormous commitment of almost 5,000 participants who, with months of preparation and creative ideas, brought science to life for everyone. An evening full of discoveries, exchange and inspiration - the Long Night of Science once again showed how lively and innovative Jena is. A big thank you to all contributors, supporters, partners and of course to all visitors!

We are already looking forward to the next Long Night of the Sciences - probably in 2026!
