Application deadline for the German Demography Award 2026 extended
Those shaping demographic change with innovative ideas now have additional opportunities: the application deadline for the German Demography Award 2026 has been extended. Projects can still be submitted until 13.02.2026.
Since 2020, the German Demography Award has honoured outstanding projects, initiatives and organizations that respond to the challenges of demographic change with innovative solutions. The aim is to make successful approaches visible, recognize role models and provide impetus for the economy and society.
Companies, clubs, associations, networks, local authorities and other initiatives based or with a focus of activity in Germany can apply in the following categories:
- Effective diversity - strengthening cohesion!
- Developing skills - creating prospects
- Shaping the future of work
- Promoting health holistically
The nominees will present their projects at the digital ddp Future Pitch on March 19, 2026. The award ceremony will take place on 04.06.2026 in the Volkshaus Jena.
