Appointments for school enrollment examinations begin

From January 10, the Health Department will begin school enrolment examinations for the 2023/2024 school year for children whose main place of residence is Jena. Appointments can now be booked online:

jena.de/einschulungsuntersuchung

All information about the examination is also available here. It also lists the documents that must be completed by parents before the examination.

All parents:

• of children with special needs (integration assistance measures such as early intervention, integrative place, sensory-specific support),
• who wish to defer their child from attending school in 2023/24,
• children who wish to start school early,

please make an appointment by telephone from 03.01.2023 on Tuesdays (10:00 - 12:00) or Thursdays (14:00 - 16:00)
