Award for forum natura

The forum natura nature experience center of the Jena City Forestry Office (KSJ) has been awarded the Thuringian Quality Seal for Education for Sustainable Development (TQS BNE). The award was presented by Thuringian Environment Minister Tilo Kummer at the Erfurt Horticultural Museum.

In addition to forum natura, six other institutions from Thuringia were also certified. The quality seal recognizes institutions that are distinguished by particularly high quality in educational work for sustainable development.

forum natura has been providing environmental education in the spirit of ESD for several years. The certification process, in which concepts, offers and quality standards were examined and further developed, took around two years. The award confirms the educational concept and the continuous commitment to nature and sustainability education.

"We are delighted to receive this recognition and look forward to many new events for daycare centers, schools, families and adults in 2026,"
