Award for Green Oases 2020
First prize for green oases
The city of Jena is awarding the "Prize for Green Oases in Jena" for the first time this year. The prize is a further development of the prize for façade and roof greening. We are looking for creative ideas in the urban area, as a positive effect for nature and the environment can be achieved even in a small space.
In addition to green facades and roofs, green balconies, front gardens, inner courtyards and fallow land in the urban area will also be honored for the first time. Prizes are awarded for both long-term and temporary greenery.
The prize is worth a total of 2,000 euros and can be split between several winners.
The application period is until 03.06.2020
We require the following information from applicants
- Name and address, e-mail address or telephone number
- Location and detailed description of the greening
- Several meaningful photos
Applications are open to private individuals, companies, clubs, associations, planning offices and architects who own a greened property and/or have created a project and have been authorized by the owner to take part in the competition.
