Broken glass scattered in the sand

An urgent tip-off reached the municipal service via the defect report: Broken glass in the sand of the play ship in Paradise.

Immediate inspection revealed that there were numerous small pieces of broken glass. Manual cleaning is not possible. The approx. 150 tons of fall protection sand must be completely replaced. The play areas around the ship and the slide will remain temporarily closed to protect the children. It is not yet possible to say how long this will take. The municipal service will of course try to implement this as soon as possible.

In addition to the annoyance caused by the closed-off play area, there are also considerable costs for the city. This is all avoidable: Alcohol has no place in playgrounds. Bottles can be returned, and collectors are happy to take them away. There are many waste garbage cans available for glass containers without a deposit.

Everyone is asked to observe this simple rule in the interests of the children at play.
