Central contact point for climate protection
Contact points for climate protection - so-called ClimateHubs - throughout Germany are intended to ensure that effective local climate projects are also disseminated to other cities so that the wheel does not always have to be reinvented. A ClimateHub consists of an online platform and a local networking person. The aim is to relieve the burden on active players, get more people excited about climate protection and exploit synergies between stakeholders.
On the project website, you can find more information on how a donation can help to ensure that there could soon be an action-oriented climate protection network in Jena.
If the crowdfunding is a success, Climate Connect plans to set up ClimateHubs in 12 German cities. Jena is one of them and the city supports this. This is because there would then be a local networker as a contact person and an online platform as a central point of contact.
More information on how a ClimateHub works can be found here.
