The background to this is that there are numerous offers on the Internet that claim to send the documents within 24 hours after a corresponding online application. The city administration of Jena expressly points out that these are dubious promises that cannot be kept. The processing time is currently at least 4 weeks.

Certificates of good conduct are issued exclusively by the Federal Office of Justice. They can be applied for online or at the Jena Citizens' Service .
