Citizen services department closed on August 20, 2025

On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the City of Jena's Citizen Services department (at Engelplatz 1) will be closed all day due to internal team events.

The following areas are affected by the closure

• the Citizens' Service
• the family service
• the driving license authority
• JenaCentral
• the citizenship authority

Appointments have not been made for this day. The City of Jena asks all citizens to refrain from making spontaneous visits or collecting documents from the above-mentioned areas on this day and to switch to the regular opening hours on the following days instead.
