City of Jena launches survey on participation communication
More and more people in Jena want to have a say when it comes to the development of their city - especially when it comes to major infrastructure projects. Early and comprehensible information on participation opportunities is crucial in order to avoid misunderstandings.
But how can interested parties be reached as reliably as possible? To find out, the city of Jena is conducting a survey on participation communication(link is external) on the participation platform mitmachen.jena.de(link is external) until 18.05.2025. Among other things, the survey asks about information channels used and experiences with existing participation formats. Participation takes around eight minutes.
"It is important to us to reach as many citizens as possible. So far, however, we have repeatedly received feedback that participation formats have not been used enough - despite numerous information offers via various channels. In order to change this and reach all people who are interested in important issues in Jena, we are asking for active participation in the survey," emphasizes Kathleen Lützkendorf, Head of the Department for Social Affairs, Health, Immigration and Climate.
