City of Jena tightens the ban on events
In light of the increased number of coronavirus cases in the immediate vicinity of Jena, Chief of Staff Benjamin Koppe and Lord Mayor Thomas Nitzsche have decided to issue a further general decree for the city of Jena.
This prohibits all events with 100 or more participants from Saturday, March 14, 2020.
This order also affects the city council meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, to which guests will only be admitted until the maximum number of 100 people has been reached in the Rathausdiele.
We would like to point out that very few guests will have the opportunity to attend the meeting. Due to the attendance of administrative staff, members of parliamentary groups, representatives of the press and technical staff, the maximum permitted number has almost been reached.
Live broadcasts by JenaTV and OKJ will be ensured.
