Comeback of the Techniker Beach Tour 2020 at Eichplatz

From July 3 to 5, Eichplatz in Jena will host the best German beach volleyball players after a three-year break. "We have succeeded in bringing the most important national beach volleyball tournament to Jena for the third time. In 2015 and 2016, 30,000 visitors watched the volleyball tournament in the heart of the city of light and created a unique atmosphere. Now it's time to repeat this," says Jena's Lord Mayor Thomas Nitzsche and Head of Sports Benjamin Koppe adds: "We are delighted to be able to celebrate this top sporting event in Jena again this summer and to experience the best German beach volleyball professionals up close. Surrounded by popular sporting events, it will not only be a worthwhile experience for the growing beach volleyball community in Jena, but for the entire population."
