On the occasion of the day of liberation from National Socialism and the end of the 2nd World War in Europe
the Lord Mayor of the City of Jena, Thomas Nitzsche, invites you to the traditional commemoration.
Wreath-laying ceremony on the Day of Liberation
on Saturday, May 8, 2021, 11:30 a.m.
Church square in front of the town church of St. Michael
The event is registered as a rally.
Participants must wear a medical face mask and keep a distance of at least 1.50 m from others.
Following the wreath-laying ceremony, a prayer for peace will take place in the town church at 12.00 noon.
