Compulsory vaccination: City of Jena discontinues fine proceedings

At the beginning of the week, the Federal Ministry of Health declared that the facility-based vaccination requirement in accordance with Section 20a of the Infection Protection Act will finally expire at the end of the year. Against this background, the city of Jena will also discontinue the further enforcement of fines for incomplete or unvaccinated persons from the healthcare sector. At the same time, the city administration expects the state government to ensure uniform administrative action throughout Thuringia in dealing with the ongoing fine proceedings.
