Concretization of the assembly event on 14.06.2025 in Jena

Due to a registered rally under the title "Freedom for all anti-fascists" with an expected 2000 participants, people passing through and residents of Jena must expect considerable restrictions in the city center area from 2 pm.

The planned route of the rally will pass through the following streets/squares:

Kick-off rally: approx. 14:00 - 15:00, Holzmarkt

  • Elevator: approx. 15:00 - 18:00
  • Route: Holzmarkt - Kronengasse - Am Volksbad - Knebelstraße - Fischergasse - Löbdergraben - Lutherplatz - Am Anger - Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße - Am Planetarium - Bibliotheksplatz - Weigelstraße - Johannisstraße - Johannisplatz - Straße des 17. Juni - Humboldtstraße - Erfurter Straße - Katharinenstraße - Lutherstraße - Ernst-Haeckel-Platz - Schillerstraße - Engelplatz - Grietgasse - Am Volksbad - Paradiesbahnhof underpass - Wiese bei den "Drei Moiren"

  • Intermediate rallies

    a) Am Anger at the height of the danger prevention center
    b) Johannisplatz

  • Final rally: approx. 18:00 - 21:00, meadow at the "Drei Moiren" behind the Paradiesbahnhof station

There will be an increased police presence in the city center of Jena. The Holzmarkt, Löbdergraben/ Teichgraben area will be closed to traffic between 1pm and 3pm.

Visitors to the Jobwalk arriving by car can access the Eichplatz parking lot or surrounding parking garages via Kollegiengasse or Weigelstraße. The market square is within walking distance. The demonstration will take place at a sufficient distance from the market square so that visitors to the Jobwalk will not be disturbed.

Visitors to youth consecration ceremonies in the Volkshaus: The elevator route does not pass the Volkshaus. Surrounding parking lots are accessible. Please allow sufficient time for your journey.

Due to the Paradiestriathlon, there will also be traffic obstructions on Stadtrodaer Straße, as it will be narrowed to one lane in and one lane out of town.

The assembly will continue from 2 p.m. until the early evening hours. Due to cordoning off measures in the city center, restrictions on public transport and road traffic are to be expected. We will try to keep the restrictions for the population as low as possible.
