Here is the current roadworks report for the 1st calendar week of 2021.

Unless otherwise indicated, cyclists and passers-by will pass the roadworks.

"Bridge in front of the Neutor"

Type: Complete closure
Duration: until 30.04.2022
Reason: New construction of the bridge
Traffic will be diverted as follows:
- out of town via Erbertstraße - Ernst-Haeckel-Straße
- into the city via Ernst-Haeckel-Straße - Schillerstraße - Teichgraben

Details: The ramp leading into the Paradies is closed - pedestrians and cyclists will be guided past by detour signs. Access to the street "An der Brauerei" is possible from Kahlaische Straße. Exit via Felsenkellerstraße and Alexander-Puschkin-Platz is also possible.

Attention: From 22.12.2021 to 07.01.2022 the pedestrian access road to Paradies will be reopened. Furthermore, you can drive from Kahlaische Straße towards Knebelstraße again. the road will be temporarily reopened there (one-way street regulation).

Buchenweg

Type: Half-sided closure
Location: House number 34
Duration: until 12.07.2022
Reason: Construction site installation for the conversion of the adjacent school
Details: Waiting is compulsory for vehicles meeting in the carriageway area.

Dornburger Straße

Type: Complete closure
Location: from the junction with Schützenhofstraße to the junction with An der Eule
Duration: until 30.06.2022
Reason: Civil engineering works
Details: The current closure area extends from Dornburger Straße 105 -135. A detour will be signposted.

Emil-Wölk-Straße (bus stop)

Type: Half-sided closure
Location: Karl-Marx-Allee level with Emil-Wölk-Straße (towards the traffic circle)
Duration: until 31.03.2022
Reason: New construction of bus stop
Details: Traffic will be diverted via Stauffenbergstraße.

Hornstraße

Type: Complete closure
Duration: until 31.01.2022
Reason: Renovation of the "Dornröschen" daycare center
Details: Pedestrians can pass.

Karl-Liebknecht-Straße

Type: One-sided footpath closure
Location: House number 34-44
Duration: until 28.01.2022
Reason: Civil engineering works
Details: Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite side of the footpath.

Kollegiengasse

Type: Complete closure
Location: between Nonneplan and Löbderstraße
Duration: until 30.04.2022
Reason: Civil engineering works
Details: A detour will be signposted. In this context, a search excavation will also be carried out on Eichplatz next to the Neue Mitte.

Attention: From 22.12.2021 to 07.01.2022, the closure will be partially lifted so that safe passage is guaranteed again.

Naumburger / Altenburger Straße

Type: Complete closure
Duration: until 15.01.2022
Reason: Work on the district heating pipeline
Details: A detour will be signposted. Pedestrians can pass the construction site safely.

Attention: From 22.12.2021 to 07.01.2022, the Altenburger Straße / Naumburger Straße junction will be partially reopened to traffic. It will be possible to enter and exit Schützenhofstraße and Altenburger Straße again. It will also be possible to turn right from Altenburger Straße into Naumburger Straße again.

Oberaue

Type: Complete closure
Location: House number 20 to the Lichtenhainer bridge
Duration: until 18.02.2022
Reason: Work on the high-pressure gas pipeline
Details: The running hall and adjacent sports fields can be accessed. Access in the direction of Lichtenhainer Brücke is not possible. A corresponding detour for pedestrians and cyclists is signposted.

We would like to take this opportunity to clearly point out that moving or removing traffic signs and traffic facilities constitutes a dangerous interference with road traffic. The above-mentioned area is controlled. Traffic signs (e.g. detour signs) are for orientation purposes and must remain in place.
