Finished construction sites

New closures
- Bürgelsche Straße 15 (Wogau), half-sided closure, reason: renewal of house connections, May 20 to 29
A construction site traffic light regulates the traffic.
- Keßlerstraße, closure of the Lobedaer Straße track area in the area of the exit from the ELF petrol station, reason: renewal of the track crossings, May 18 to 19
The entrance from Lobedaer Straße in the direction of the petrol station / Göschwitz industrial estate is not affected by the closure.
Existing locks
- Camburger Straße, half-sided closure, reason: laying of gas pipes, until June 15
During the construction period, traffic in the direction of the city center will remain on Camburger Straße. As last year, northbound traffic will be routed back to Camburger Straße via Spitzweidenweg and Scharnhorststraße.

Drosselstraße, full closure between Jenaprießnitzer Straße and Steingraben, reason: reconstruction of the gas pipes, until May 29
During the closure, one-way traffic on Steingraben will be suspended. Residents' traffic in Steingraben will be regulated alternately by traffic lights at the junction with Karl-Liebknecht-Straße.
- Am Eisenbahndamm, narrowing of the road, reason: laying of a drinking water pipe through the railroad embankment between Landveste and Straße am Eisenbahndamm, until July 26
During the construction work, the cycle/walking path will be closed in the area of the construction site at Landveste and diverted in the area of Landveste. There will also be a temporary narrowing of the road Am Eisenbahndamm, especially at times when traffic is lighter, as one of the two left-turn lanes in the direction of Paradiesbrücke (Stadtrodaer Straße) will have to be shortened slightly.
- Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, full closure between Brändströmstraße and Pestalozzistraße, reason: laying of a new combined sewer, until around May 31st
The detour will be in both directions via Jenzigweg and Wiesenstraße to the Anger junction. Residents can bypass the roadworks via Am Steinborn and Löbichauer Straße. Temporary stopping restrictions will be put in place along this route to help traffic flow

Lichtenhainer Oberweg, full closure between the Carl-Zeiss-Promenade junction and the Döbereinerstrasse junction, until June 28
Detour via the adjacent streets Phillip-Müller-Straße; Döbereinerstraße; Friedrich-Körner-Straße.
- Lutherplatz/ Inselplatz, closure of approx. 1/3 of the parking lot, reason: archaeological excavations, until September 20
- Marktstraße in Lobeda-Altstadt, sectional closure, reason: expansion of Marktstraße between Marktplatz and Nikolaus-Theiner-Straße and further via Lobdeburgweg between Stadtgraben and Spitzbergstraße, until September 27
- Maria-Pawlowna-Straße, closure, reason: construction work on the district heating pipeline, until June 7
Traffic between Naumburger Straße and Schreckenbachweg or Am Rosenhang will be diverted in both directions via Flurweg. - Max-Wien-Platz, traffic restrictions in the area where Kritzegraben joins Philosophenweg, reason: development of the property at Am Philosophenweg 26, until the middle of the year

Mittelstraße, full closure, reason: renewal of the sewer between Otto-Schott-Straße and Kronfeldstraße, until August 30
It is possible to drive around the construction site via the adjacent roads.
- Naumburger Straße / Rautal, full closure of the Naumburger Straße / Am Steinbach intersection, reason: expansion of Naumburger Straße between Camburger Straße and Flurweg
The large-scale detour is via Brückenstraße - Wiesenstraße - Am Anger and back.
Despite the barriers in Brückenstraße: Please do not try to drive through the residential area! Public and school buses drive through the small streets. "Creeping traffic" would massively obstruct local traffic there. In addition, the sidewalks are partially separated from the carriageway - the safety of school routes has top priority.

- Schrödingerstraße 8-18, half-sided closure, reason: renovation work on the adjacent building, until November 8

- Am Volksbad, half-sided closure, reason: construction of a footpath including ancillary facilities at the bus station, until June 26
The street Am Volksbad is only accessible from Grietgasse in the direction of Knebelstraße. The detour is signposted.

- Stadtrodaer Straße in Lobeda, total closure in the area of the bridge between Lobeda-Ost and Lobeda-West, reason: execution of the concrete walkway for the new bridge, June 3 to 4
The detour will be comprehensively signposted:
The detour will be in the direction of the city via the traffic circle at the Fair Resort Hotel and Erlanger Allee through Lobeda-Ost.
Traffic will be diverted towards the highway via the Lobeda-West slip road and straight back onto Stadtrodaer Straße, where traffic will have to be regulated by roadworks traffic lights at the junction with Karl-Marx-Allee.
The full closure is already widely signposted in both directions, so that the bypass from the highway or from the city via Burgau and Göschwitz should already partially relieve the closed junction.
At busy times of the day, there will be temporary obstructions due to the full closure.
- Dornburger Straße / Scharnhorststraße, traffic restrictions, reason: renewal of the road surface in the track area at the junction of Dornburger Straße / Scharnhorststraße , May 27 to June 8
Crossing and turning across the tracks must be prohibited during the construction period.
