Cordial invitation to Climate Day Jena
The Climate and Environment Round Table and Climate Decision Jena are organizing an open day on the Climate Action Plan, which is currently being developed. The focus is on joint deliberations on what measures are needed to make Jena climate-neutral by 2035.

Christian grammar school (Altenburger Straße 10)
Numerous guests from the city administration (Lord Mayor, Climate Coordinator), the commissioned target GmbH (Managing Director), the municipal utilities and various initiatives (Repariercafe, foodsharing, Radentscheid) will be on hand to answer questions and listen to suggestions.
Everyone is invited to contribute ideas for measures, ask questions or simply find out more.
Coffee and cake will be provided as well as a clothes swap and other offers.
The program:
| 2 - 3 p.m. | KlimaAktionsPlan - on the way to climate neutrality (information event with the climate coordinator and much more) |
| 3 - 5 p.m. | Open workshops to contribute ideas (approx. 45 minutes each) |
| 3 p.m. | Role of municipal utilities, activation of civil society, food consumption, open workshop (open meeting + experts) |
| 4 p.m. | Building refurbishment, transformation of the transport sector, climate-neutral companies, open workshop |

The event is largely barrier-free (suitable for wheelchairs, among others) and will be held with translation facilities.
