New hotline and email address for questions about corona measures in Jena

From Monday, in addition to the fever hotline, another hotline will be available for general inquiries about corona measures in Jena: 0049 3641 492222.

This Corona hotline will be staffed daily from 10 am to 3 pm. The aim is to extend these times. Please do NOT use this number for medical questions or questions about quarantine.

Registrations for fever consultation hours can only be made under the already communicated number: 0049 3641 493333.

Obligation to report and immediate home quarantine

Attention is once again drawn to the absolute compliance with the general decree on home quarantine when returning from risk areas. These persons are also obliged to report to 0049 3641 493333 or by e-mail to corona@jena.de.

Anyone who intentionally or negligently violates this order is acting in violation of the regulations and can be fined up to 25,000 euros. A prison sentence of up to 5 years must also be expected for violations.

Information boards will be set up by the municipal service at the stations and on the access roads.

Changes to the accessibility of the Jobcenter - payments not at risk

Due to the current situation, the Jenarbeit Job Center will be closed. The customer center on the first floor will remain open for emergencies and initial applications.

Opening hours: Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 12:00

Documents and questions can be submitted at any time by post or email to jenarbeit@jena.de. Please only use this e-mail address and not that of the clerk. Depending on the available capacity, the telephone number 0049 3641 49-4710 can be reached.

There are no disadvantages if you do not come to appointments that have already been allocated or do not take part in a measure.

And most importantly: the payment of cash benefits is guaranteed!
