Corona situation: 4 new infections

The Health Service reported 4 new SARS-CoV-2 infections to the Robert Koch Institute on Friday, 28.05.2021 (by midnight).

11 people were classified as recovered.

A total of 10 new cases were reported due to late notifications, which are also spread over previous weeks. As a result, the incidence figure has risen only slightly to 26. The seven-day incidence has now fallen below the 50 and 35 mark for four consecutive working days.

Effects of the lower incidence values on school operations

If the incidence values continue not to exceed the 35 or 50 mark, extensive relaxations can come into force from Wednesday, June 2. These are already in place for school operations:

Regular operation with preventive infection protection (phase "green")
Abolition of the obligation to wear a face mask (under 50 for grades 1 - 6, under 35 for all grades)
An MNB obligation continues to apply to everyone in the school depending on the situation (school hygiene concept and routing in the school building) as well as for school transport.
Learning at other locations is also possible indoors (under 50 day trips, under 35 unrestricted)

Irrespective of the incidence, all pupils and teaching staff will continue to be offered testing twice a week in June. Without a test (school test offer or public test offer), the school entry ban remains in place. Exempt from testing are recovered and fully vaccinated persons.
