Corona situation: 456 new infections in the past 7 days

In the last 7 days, 456 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus have been reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service. This corresponds to a weekly trend in infections of +113%.

The general increase in incidence in Germany is also confirmed in Jena. This is due to the drop in temperatures in recent weeks. In addition, many infections were recorded this week. The increased figures have had no impact on the occupancy rates in hospitals.

Last week, 690 positive rapid tests were reported by the test centers. These figures are also reported to the RKI, but are not included in the statistics.
