Corona situation in Jena: 103 new cases

103 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

The following facilities are newly affected by infections
Lauensteinweg daycare center, Landgrafenstieg daycare center, Janusz Korczak daycare center
North School, Lobdeburg School
All results of the serial testing in the retirement home with outbreaks are now available. According to the results, the infections have spread throughout the home.
The number of confirmed cases of Omikron has been corrected to 88. However, the public health department is assuming much higher figures.
