Corona situation in Jena: 106 new infections
106 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
Over 50 further cases have not yet been entered into the system. Rising reports from schools and daycare centers as well as increased positive rapid tests clearly show that the coronavirus wave has arrived in Jena.
- The situation in the retirement home with the outbreak has eased. Most of the staff with quarantine orders have been cleared.
- An isolated case has occurred in a social housing facility. The entire home is being tested as a precautionary measure.
- The following educational institutions are newly affected by infections, some of them with secondary infections:
Glühwürmchen daycare center, Weltentdecker daycare center,
GMS Wenigenjane, Kulturanum School, Heinrich Heine School, Lobdeburg School
