Corona situation in Jena: 108 new infections
On Monday, February 21, 2022, the Health Service transmitted 108 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
After the reporting deadline, a further 200 cases were submitted by the laboratories, which are being entered today.
One person over 80 years old has died with a corona infection.
Background to the case history
New infections were reported from two schools and three daycare centers. In addition to orders for individual groups, an entire daycare center was also placed in quarantine.
