Corona situation in Jena: 108 new infections
108 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
One person over 80 years of age has died with a Covid19 infection.
The Health Service appeals to all citizens to largely avoid indoor contact in view of the increasing number of cases.

- Infections have now also occurred in two sports groups.
- The outbreak in the retirement home, which has already been reported, continues to spread. The home management is in constant contact with the health department, and the care and nursing of the residents is ensured.
