Corona situation in Jena: 1,165 new infections at the weekend
Over the weekend, 1,165 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service.
Of these, 1,010 cases were reported on Friday (April 1) (including late reports from Thursday). Zero infections were reported on Saturday (April 2) and 155 new infections on Sunday (April 3).
280 cases are currently unprocessed.
3 new deaths in connection with a corona infection were recorded. One of these was a person who died in a retirement home. Two other deaths are older and were assigned to coronavirus cases after the death certificates were checked.

New infections were reported from 13 social facilities. These include inpatient care facilities and mobile care services.
