Corona situation in Jena: 125 new cases

On March 14, 2022, 125 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service.

Around 150 cases were reported by the laboratories after the reporting deadline. As the facilities are working at the limit, there are sometimes reporting delays of several days.

Background information on the cases

New infections were reported from 9 schools and 2 daycare centers.

Some retirement homes are reporting an increase in infections.
