Corona situation in Jena: 136 new cases on Sunday

The Health Service reported 136 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Sunday, November 21.

On Friday, November 19, 109 cases were reported and on Saturday, November 20, a further 90 cases.

Facilities affected by new infections and subsequent cases

Infections or subsequent cases have occurredin the following daycare centers and schools:

Further information

  • Jena has thus reached the 400 incidence and 500 incidence over the weekend.
  • A total of 108 infections have now been recorded in one retirement home affected by an outbreak. Individual cases have occurred in two other retirement homes. This means that three care facilities are currently affected by infections.
