Corona situation in Jena: 1,364 new infections at the weekend

Over the weekend, 1,364 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service.

There were 639 cases on Friday, March 25, 480 new infections on Saturday and 245 on Sunday.

430 cases are currently unprocessed.

New infections were reported from 2 schools and 24 daycare centers.

Other elderly care facilities are affected by infections.

More and more people are testing positive again shortly after an infection. A new infection with another virus variant can be assumed.
