Corona situation in Jena: 1,551 cases at the weekend

Over the weekend, 1,551 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service.

There were 494 cases on Friday, March 18, 502 new infections on Saturday and 555 on Sunday.

Around 200 cases are currently unprocessed.

New infections have been reported from 12 schools and 19 daycare centers.

New infections have occurred in at least 6 social institutions.
