Corona situation in Jena: 17 new cases

On Tuesday, October 13, the Health Service reported 17 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).

Many infections were detected by the free tests at schools. The transmission of infections within families is also still dominant. New cases were reported at the Trießnitz School.

• Hospitalization incidence: 2.7
• Percentage ITS occupancy (Thuringia-wide): 5.6
• Infections in the last seven days: 71 (previous day: 69)
• Current seven-day incidence for Jena: 64.1 (yesterday: 62.3; day before yesterday: 61.4)
• Total infected persons since 14.03.2020: 4,809
• Total number of deaths: 84
• Total recovered: 4,605 (+11)
• Quarantine orders apply to 650 people, including 125 returning travelers. (Status as of 5.10.2021)
• According to the Thuringian early warning system, warning level 1 applies for Jena
