Corona situation in Jena: 183 new cases

On Wednesday, November 24, the health department reported 183 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).

The high number is due to the follow-up work on cases from previous days.

Infections or subsequent cases have occurred in the following daycare centers and schools:

Kita Tausendfüßler, Kita Pusteblume
Galileo School, Schiller School, Saaletal School, Rautal School

A further case has occurred in a nursing home, meaning that 6 residents are now infected there.

On Saturday, November 27, 2021, 4 vaccination centers are open in Jena. The vaccines Moderna, Johnson&Johnson and BioNTech will be offered.
