
Corona situation in Jena: 201 new infections
201 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported by the Health Service to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
According to the Thuringian early warning system, warning level 2 has been in force in Jena since today. Both the Thuringia-wide intensive care bed occupancy rate and the hospitalization rate in Jena have fallen below the threshold values of a warning level for seven consecutive days. There are no immediate changes to the current regulations. The state of Thuringia has announced a model general decree for adoption in the districts and cities, which will be sent out during the course of the week. This will be evaluated by the crisis team. The aim here is a uniform approach and coordination with the surrounding districts in order to avoid different regulations.
