Corona situation in Jena: 22 new infections

22.04.2021

22 SARS-CoV-2 infections were reported to the Health Service on Wednesday, 21.04.2021 (by midnight).

Since yesterday afternoon, Jena has been one of the first 20 local authorities in Germany to have the SORMAS interfaces to DEMIS (reporting software for laboratories) and SurvNet (reporting software of the RKI). With SORMAS X, infection reports can be recorded and forwarded more quickly and uniformly.

This changeover makes it necessary to check all existing cases in order to avoid duplication. As there has been an increase in infections in family networks in recent weeks, the names must be compared very carefully.

For this reason, we can only provide abbreviated statistics today. The missing data remain statistically on the value of Tuesday and will be delivered tomorrow.
