Corona situation in Jena: 236 new infections

On Monday, March 7, 236 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the health department.

A further 200 cases were reported by the laboratories after the reporting deadline.

The health department asks all infected persons to be patient. The mass of incoming cases can only be processed with a considerable time delay.

New infections were reported from 48 school classes.

The wave of infections in retirement homes is also continuing to grow.
