Corona situation in Jena: 245 new infections
On Thursday, February 17, 2022, the Health Service transmitted 245 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
A further 60 cases were reported after transmission by the laboratories. This puts the incidence back above the 1,000 mark.
Background to the case incidence
- New infections were reported from 1 after-school care center and 6 daycare centers.
- Staff infections were reported from one retirement home. Random testing of residents and staff is now taking place here.
