Corona situation in Jena: 253 new infections at the weekend
253 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported by the health department of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) at the weekend. Around a third of the cases affected children and young people.
62 cases were reported on Friday, 141 on Saturday and 50 on Sunday.
The 7-day incidence thus exceeds 600.

Kita Beutenberg, Kita Flohkiste, Kita Kunitz, Kita Fröbelhaus, Kita Abenteuerland,
Südschule, SBBS Gesundheit, Kulturanum, Schillerschule, UniverSaale, Otto-Schott-Gymnasium, Ernst-Abbe-Gymnasium - Two other children's and youth facilities are affected by new infections. Further cases have also occurred in the retirement home with an outbreak, affecting staff and residents.
