Corona situation in Jena: 254 new infections

06.04.2022

On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, 254 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service.

170 cases are currently unprocessed.

Background to the case history

12 conspicuous pools were reported from daycare centers. These are currently being investigated. New infections have been reported from a further 3 social facilities.

Note on rapid antigen tests

A positive rapid test carried out in a test center means immediate isolation. However, clarification by PCR test is recommended. Only with a confirmed PCR test is it possible to issue a certificate of convalescence. This is particularly important for unvaccinated persons or children who require a certificate of recovery.
