Corona situation in Jena: 29 new infections
On Wednesday, October 6, the Health Service notified the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) of 29 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This includes 15 cases from Tuesday, October 5, which have not yet been reported to the RKI.
Background to the infections
Infections are mainly passed on within the family. A retirement home is also affected. All residents and staff are being tested here today.
Subsequent cases have also occurred in schools that have already been reported; the Kaleidoscope School is a new addition.
Warning level 1 now also applies in Jena
At 4.4%, the percentage of ITS occupancy in Thuringia is above the limit value of 3.0 for the third day. This means that warning level 1 applies for Jena.
