Corona situation in Jena: 29 newly reported infections
On Monday, January 17, 2022, the Health Service reported 29 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
Further cases were received after the reporting deadline and are being entered today.
Background to the case history
So far, there is evidence of 89 cases of Omikron.
The following facilities are newly affected by infections:
Anne Frank daycare center, Regenbogen daycare center, Schwabenhaus daycare center
Talschule, JenaPlan School
In the retirement home affected by an outbreak, the residents and staff will be swabbed by PCR test in the coming days.
