Corona situation in Jena: 346 new cases at the weekend

346 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the health department over the weekend.

149 of them on Friday (February 4), 127 on Saturday (February 5) and 70 on Sunday (February 6).

With the value of 873.3, the previous high of the 7-day incidence of 9.12.2021 (805.6) has been far exceeded.

4 deceased persons with a Covid19 infection have been reported since Friday. Two of them were well over 80 and two of them over 90. Vaccination status: 2x vaccinated, 1x unknown and 1x revaccinated.

• The following facilities are newly affected by infections, some of them secondary infections:
  Waldorf daycare center, Bertolla daycare center, Tausendfüßler daycare center, Dualingo daycare center, Steiger daycare center, Kunitz daycare center, Wogau daycare center, Burgweg daycare center, Fuchsturmweg daycare center
  Sportgymnasium, Dualingo-Schule, Nordschule, Kaleidoskop-Schule, Rautalschule, IGS Grete Unrein, Heinrich-Heine-Schule, GMS Wenigenjena, UniverSaale, Lobdeburgschule,

• Regarding the situation in the retirement homes: two facilities have been affected by outbreaks, with individual cases occurring in two other facilities.
