Corona situation in Jena: 391 new cases
On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, 391 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service.
This puts the incidence in Jena at over 1,500.
Unfortunately, a new death was reported in connection with a Covid-19 infection. The person was over 80 and lived in a retirement home.
Background to the case history
New infections were reported from 20 schools and 10 daycare centers.
A large number of retirement homes and social facilities reported new infections.
