Corona situation in Jena: 622 cases

On Thursday, March 24, 622 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service.

Around 1,000 cases have not yet been processed. This means that the current incidence of over 3,200 only partially reflects the real extent of actual infections.

Background information on the cases

New infections have been reported from 3 schools and 15 daycare centers.

The outbreaks in the retirement homes already reported are continuing to spread.
