Corona situation in Jena: 73 new infections

On Wednesday, November 3, the health department reported 73 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI). This puts the seven-day incidence for Jena at 261.9.

Since the state-wide percentage ITS occupancy is above the value of 12, warning level 3 now applies in Jena. A new general decree is currently being drawn up, which will exhaust the framework of the state's Corona Ordinance for the warning level.

Background to the infection event

An outbreak occurred in a retirement home.Unfortunately, some employees have not been vaccinated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

All residents and staff are fully tested.

4 daycare centers are affected by infections and quarantine measures have been ordered: Knirpsenland, Arche Noah, Jenzigblick and Janusz Korczak.
