The Department of Health reported 13 new SARS-CoV-2 infections to the Robert Koch Institute on Thursday, May 20, 2021 (by midnight). 18 persons were classified as recovered. Two cases were subsequently transferred to other local authorities, bringing the total number of infected persons to 4,302 (+11 cases).

Background to the infection

After swabs were taken in a home for the elderly, 4 residents and one staff person showed positive PCR tests. Further cases are distributed among the professional and private environment.
