Corona situation picture for Jena
The specialist health service reported 14 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on 16.09.2021 (until 24 o'clock).
Background to the case history
Positive corona cases were reported and quarantine measures were issued for the following institutions:
- Adolf Reichwein High School
- Valley School
- Montessori School
- West School
- Schottgymnasium (follow-up case)
- Südschule (subsequent cases)
Several sports clubs continue to be affected as well as individual incidents.
Active assistance in informing contact persons necessary
Contact persons are currently being identified. In some cases, a large number of direct contacts have to be informed for people who have tested positive, which the Health Department is no longer able to do in a timely manner due to the high workload. The active assistance of the persons concerned is requested in order to inform their contacts independently. Contact persons are requested to go into domestic isolation. The quarantine orders will be issued by the public health department at a later date, after appropriate investigations have been made.
