Corona situation picture Jena

In the last 7 days, 197 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus have been reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service. This corresponds to a weekly trend in infections of +39%.

225 positive rapid tests have been transmitted by the test centers since 23.11. These figures are also passed on to the RKI, but are not included in the statistics.

In addition to these figures, there has been a sharp rise in influenza cases (quadrupling since last week). Children and young people are particularly affected.

In order not to jeopardize medical care, parents are asked to care for children with cold symptoms at home and not to send them to institutions (kindergarten or school).
