Corona situation picture Jena
In the last 7 days, 645 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus have been reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service. This corresponds to a weekly trend in infections of -11%.
Incidences are also currently falling slightly in Germany. The picture in intensive care units is different: here, the percentage occupancy of intensive care units across Thuringia has risen to 10%. In Jena, the figures have remained constant.
The reported outbreaks in social facilities are subsiding. However, the loss of staff due to infections is making itself felt. Two elderly people with a SARS-CoV-2 virus infection have died. A further 4 people have been added to the list, but their date of death was several months ago.
Last week, only 95 positive rapid tests were submitted by the test centers. These figures are also passed on to the RKI, but are not included in the statistics.
